A Case of Cervical in Term Pregnancy

Abstract

|
The incidence of invasive cervical cancer associated with pregnancy was one in 2,200 pregnancies. The diagnosis of cervical cancer in pregnancy is often delayed because bleeding is attributed to pregnancy-related complications.
All pregnant patients should have a cytology at the initial antenatal visit, and any grossly suspicious lesion should be subjected to biopsy.
We experienced one case of invasive squamous cell carcinoma at 38 weeks of pregnancy, which had referred from private clinic. So we report the case and brief review of literature.
